Good day, everyone.
A super quick one today.
The festive mood is clearly in the air. I stepped out to a store around midday, at a time when most people should be at work, and it felt like a public holiday. Everywhere was packed. People shopping like the money had been saved solely for this purpose. Christmas truly is the most wonderful time of the year.
Speaking of Christmas and Christmas gifts, we earlier mentioned that we would be giving away copies of Solace Chukwu’s book “Elusive”, which chronicles Enyimba’s 2003 Champions League triumph. After sitting with the team and thinking it through, we arrived at a simple conclusion. Why gift a book to someone who was never willing to buy it in the first place?
So we adjusted the plan.
If you want to buy Solace’s book, we are willing to support you by paying fifty percent of the cost. I think a fifty percent discount qualifies as a fair Christmas gift. Gifts like this carry more value when the recipient actually wants them and is willing to put some skin in the game. That way, the appreciation is genuine.

If you are interested, here’s what to do. Send us an email or buzz us on X. Just let us know you are interested in the fifty percent offer and we can take it from there. We have slots for ten people. Not a lot, but that is what Oga has approved for this one, and I think that is fair.
On the football front, the boys are headed to Maiduguri to face El Kanemi Warriors. That is always the furthest trip on the calendar and it will be good to get it out of the way. What would be even better, of course, is returning with all three points if we can pull it off. After all, what is life without a little faith?
That’s all I’ve got for today.
Have a good one, and blessings to you and yours.
See you.
