End of the Season Report Card – Solomon Ogberahwe

Greetings Enyimba Fans,

Today, I want to talk about a player who joined us from Plateau United in January—Solomon Ogberahwe. The Sapele-born defender made 14 appearances for Enyimba this season, though he didn’t register any goals or assists.

Signing Solomon was seen as a move to bolster the squad, especially given our injury issues. He’s a versatile player, able to play as a Left-Back, Left Winger, or even in Right Midfield. That kind of flexibility is useful, especially in a packed schedule where squad depth matters.

He’s got decent stamina and some defensive awareness, which helped him settle into the team quickly. However, despite the 14 appearances, I think he could have made a bigger impact if he had been given more consistent game time. His contributions were limited, but he’s shown enough to suggest he has potential to develop further, especially if he works on his attacking game.

If Solomon stays with Enyimba, his versatility remains a valuable asset. Still, he needs to focus on improving his offensive output adding goals and assists especially when he plays as a left winger. Improving his crossing, shot selection, and decision-making in the final third could make him more threatening going forward.

Overall, I’d rate him 5/10. He’s a squad player with some potential, but he needs to develop his attacking skills if he wants to become more than just a utility man. It’ll be interesting to see how he progresses next season.

Back tomorrow!
