It also brought much needed relief to supporters who have endured weeks of frustration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those three points made a significant difference on the table. Enyimba climbed out of the relegation zone into 15th place on 36 points. Just behind them are <strong>Kwara United F.C.<\/strong> and <strong>Kano Pillars F.C.<\/strong>, level on points but trailing on goal difference, while <strong>Wikki Tourists F.C.<\/strong> sit a point further back. At the bottom, <strong>Remo Stars F.C.<\/strong> occupy 19th place. The margins are tight, and every result now carries serious consequences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The survival battle is intensifying, made even more striking by the calibre of teams involved. Former champions like Enyimba and Kano Pillars find themselves in the mix, alongside other established sides. Looking at the run in, the People\u2019s Elephant sit right at the centre of the fight, with their destiny still firmly in their own hands. Crucially, four of the remaining fixtures are against direct rivals in the battle for survival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It begins with a trip to face Kano Pillars, followed by difficult journeys to take on Wikki Tourists in Bauchi and Kwara United in Ilorin. Of the teams around them, only Remo Stars will visit Aba before the end of the season. This run offers Enyimba a real opportunity to take the fight directly to their rivals. Winning away in these fixtures does more than add three points. It creates separation. It pins opponents down while allowing Enyimba to pull clear. But executing that plan will require clarity, discipline, and strong leadership from the bench. The responsibility now rests heavily on <strong>Emmanuel Detchoua<\/strong> to deliver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In football, it is often said that you take it one match at a time. The next challenge is Kano Pillars. Historically, Kano has not been a favourable ground for Enyimba. The last victory there came in the 2016 season under coach <strong>Paul Aigbogun<\/strong>, when the team came from behind to snatch a late winner through <strong>Thankgod Ike<\/strong>. Since then, results in Kano have been difficult to come by, with the best outcome being a 1\u20131 draw in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That 2018 fixture also carries a deeper memory. It was the last NPFL match played by former Enyimba captain <strong>Chinedu Udoji<\/strong>, who featured for Kano Pillars against his former club before his tragic passing later that same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Enyimba push to strengthen their survival bid with results on the road, they must not lose sight of the importance of their home fixtures. Maximum points in Aba remain non negotiable. Anything less would undo the belief and relief generated by the victory over Plateau United.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The task is clear. Build on the momentum. Stay focused.
