Good Morning Everyone<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday, we launched a message board for Coach Kadiri Ikhana, and a few fans have already left heartfelt messages. The idea is simple, it is always better to express our gratitude and affection while people are still here to receive it. If you haven\u2019t yet, feel free to drop your message here<\/a>. I am certain he will treasure every word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It looks like we will be seeing quite a few new faces at Enyimba this coming season. As of yesterday, more players queued up to collect their licenses and formally end their time with the club. According to the information I received, players are leaving in droves<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having worked in football circles, I understand that players can be unpredictable. But honestly, I am more troubled by the fact that so many are willingly walking away from the chance to play for Enyimba. Maybe we have been lying to ourselves about what this club still represents. I mean, how does a player choose to leave Enyimba for Sunshine Stars?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These exits place unnecessary pressure on the team and, frankly, hand Stanley Eguma a ready made excuse for the first half of the season. I can already hear the post match comments, “You know we are a young team. We are still trying to understand each other”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But how do you challenge for titles with a revolving door squad? You do not. And it is clear there is no serious plan to win trophies or even to bring fans back to the stadium. We cannot keep rebuilding every single season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then there is the financial aspect. What about the money these players might be leaving behind with these terminations? I truly hope the club settles all outstanding payments. It would be a scandal if players are walking away because of unpaid wages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hard truth is, Enyimba is not a well run club by any stretch. But this chaos presents a real opportunity for those interested in player representation. Be the bridge between club and player. We know too well that many NPFL clubs are quick to exploit players, especially those without agents or even copies of their contracts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe the disorder is intentional. If things stay messy, no one expects the club to play by the rules. No wonder they love players who don’t have a proper representation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
