Thank you for all of the feedback from yesterday’s post. Good or bad and indifferent- it doesn’t matter. They’re still all very welcome. And like I had declared yesterday, we will keep talking about Enyimba – and for that purpose gents, we are back on here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We play Kano Pillars this evening in a rearranged match fixture. I did see a post few days ago, where someone from the club released a news piece criticizing the League organizers for being unfair to the club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From what i gathered from the piece, the club needed an extra day having been on the road on back to back fixtures. So a game that would have been played on Sunday was moved forward to accomodate a TV Scheduled game vs Pillars. Now this Scheduled game was for Saturday. 2 days after our ordeal with Abakaliki FC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I don’t believe the club was targeted specifically by the League organizers. I however do believe that it’s the disorganization of the League organizers that has birthed this. The club was just the fall guy at the wrong place and time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I do have my reservations about how these folks are running the league and if they think they’ve covered themselves in glory and excellence, they are the biggest clowns ever. The League has never been at a worse state now than ever in history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Talks of favoritism, haphazard fixtures scheduling and unfair rulings have all been too common and while it is easy to claim targeting, I think it’s more of disorganization than outright manipulation of the competition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
For instance, it is weird that we have TV deals in place yet independent journalists can share feeds from games on their social media platforms to no consequence. Unless of course, these media outlets are all part of the TV Deal Contract. Anyway, all that is talk for another day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is supposed to be a Match Preview. Unfortunately I’m not sure what to write about this team or which version of it will show up. If they win, that’s good for them. If they don’t, thats also fine. We’ve become used to it all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
