If e easy, run am!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Now, our focus shifts to Bayelsa United, but across the footballing landscape, all eyes are on the Super Eagles as they take on Rwanda\u2019s Amavubi at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali. It\u2019s a must-win encounter if Nigeria still harbors ambitions of making it to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. That said, one question still lingers: How is Kayode Bankole in the squad while Ani Ozoemena isn\u2019t? A debate for another day, perhaps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile, over in the NPFL, another interesting subplot has emerged\u2014Remo Stars have had their fixture this weekend against struggling Lobi Stars postponed. While we may not know the exact reason, the absence of their goalkeepers, Serge Obassa and Kayode Bankole, who are away on national duty may not be far from it. But hold on\u2014don\u2019t they have a third-choice goalkeeper and a feeder team? In other leagues, teams don\u2019t just get a free pass because a few players are unavailable, so what\u2019s really going on here?<\/p>\n\n\n\n This is where the NPFL needs to improve. Decisions like these should come with clear, transparent explanations. Leaving room for speculation and assumptions only fuels unnecessary controversy and dents the league\u2019s credibility.
