The People’s Elephant trampled visiting Black Bulls Maputo 4-1 in a Match Day 4 clash in the CAF Confederations Cup on Sunday evening.

Man of the match, Joseph Atule, opened the floodgates in the 7th minute, but the visitors quickly restored parity five minutes later.

Ifeanyi Ihemekwele and new signing Brown Ideye then scored, before Atule sealed the win with his second goal, capping an emphatic display for the Aba Giants.

The win is a timely boost for Enyimba, who face Nassarawa United on Wednesday, January 8th.

Beyond that, they’ll face a crucial test in the CAF Confederations Cup: a make-or-break encounter with Al Masry, where a positive result will be vital to escape a challenging group.
