Enyimba Football Club has announced the release of 13 players from its squad, marking a significant overhaul of the team ahead of the new season. 

The departed players include goalkeepers Olorunleke Ojo and Desmond Ojietefian, Defenders; Chigozie Chilekwu Ngomere, Chibuike Nwaiwu, and James Orasonye, Midfielders:Ikenna Cooper, and George Owen, Forwards : MacBen Otika, Uche Collins, Tochukwu Emmanuel, Ngomere Chisom, Anthony Okachi, and Chijioke Mbaoma.

 In a statement, Enyimba FC expressed its gratitude to the departing players for their dedication and contributions to the club. “Their efforts have played a vital role in our journey, and they will always be remembered as valued members of the Enyimba family,” the statement read. 

 The release of these players is seen as a strategic move by the club to reinvigorate its squad and build a stronger team for the upcoming season. Enyimba FC will begin its new season campaign with a renewed sense of purpose, hoping to build on the foundations laid by the departing players.
