Good morning Guys,
It’s that kind of post where you’d start with – Good news or Bad news, which do you want first? I actually do have a tale of two Dares- the incoming Dare and the outbound Dare. You’d almost say it’s a like for like replacement except the fact that one had bagged more experience than the other. Dare Ojo has left; Dare Olatunji has walked into the building.
Dare Ojo gave an interview to Goal –
“I am pleased to tell you that I have left Enyimba at the expiration of my contract. It was a good experience with them and I am happy to leave for another club where I will continue my learning process,”
I’m worried that he uses the term “pleased” and immediately he switches talk to his new club. Not uttering another word about Enyimba –
“We have started in the right direction with the win in the Super Cup. I was not part of the game because I came in just recently after we finished the discussion”.
“I am joining this team not short of experience having played in the Caf Champions League and in the Caf Confederation Cup and I am willing to offer it for the advancement of Lobi Stars”.
“I believe that Lobi Stars have the right blend of players to surprise Africa and they also have a good technical crew who are equally experienced and are committed to their job. I am in Lobi Stars to do exceptionally and also win trophies with them.”
Thank you Dare Ojo but please next…!
Enter Dare Olatunji –
“I’m indescribably happy to be here,” he told Footballlive.ng. It has always been a dream of mine to play for a big club like Enyimba. I just think this move was great timing and this was a great opportunity for me to pursue my dream.
“Enyimba is a very big cub. They are a club with a very high status in Africa. It feels great to finally be here,” Enyimba are a great club and I’m honoured to represent a team and a club that have really good ambitions. I wanted something new and to come to Enyimba is just awesome.
“I just can’t wait for the season to start now. I want to give everything for the club I’m representing. My major goal is to do well for my club.”
Welcome Son, here’s wishing you a very fruitful and productive stint with us.
