Good morning everyone.
Sorry there’s been nothing happening on the blog for a while. I had a family emergency and my dad went home to be with the Lord on Monday.
Was he ill or in the hospital? No. I held him as he left his body. It was the will of the Lord because there could have been a thousand and one other ways or times he could have left this world. But he did the way the Lord thought it wise.
We are not in mourning because he was the perfect example of what a father should be. He led us to Christ and showed us the way of life. He was a good father who provided for us and trained us. Every one of his kids got the best education possible for them. Nor did he at any time ever hit my mum. I don’t have any excuse to do any less.
So while we honour and respect his legacy and all he stood for, it reminds us who are alive that we are here for a period of time. It is expedient that we pass the time of our soujouring in reverent fear. Living for God, the one who made us.
Enyimba wise, today like the rest of this week and maybe Into next, we’ll rely solely on our media department and journalists online to bring us up to speed with goings on at the club. I heard we won El-Kanemi Warriors yesterday on penalties thanks to Ocheje’s heroics. So we’ll play J Atete for a place in the quarters vs Rivers United.
Kano Pillars will be next opposition at the weekend and it’s another TV game. I won’t be seeing that nor would there be a preview or review then. I’ll see what doors to knock if it becomes expedient that we post something.
It is well.
God bless us all.
